CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

1909 New listings, 1910 rev of 09 also!

    1909 New listings, 1910 rev of 09 also!

    Hello all! Been in a 1909 study group for 3-4 months now with a few guys, Shawn Tew, Blaine Nuepert, Chris Welch, John Miller, and Thomas Brochu. It’s been wild, collectively we’ve had 10 new 1909 Lincoln listings, and a 1910 with rev of 09 transitional die variety. The 1909 listings are almost all Class 3 DDR’s, being a type 2 reverse that’s hubbed over a type 1 reverse. One of the 1909’s is a DDO/DDR combo! Most of the listings got posted on Varietyvista yesterday including the 1910, the 1909 DDO/DDR should be listed on Coppercoins soon. The 1910 rev of 09 is also a class 3, one of the 09 dies, reused in 1910. Looking forward to getting these listed with Coneca numbers soon. The 1910 is gonna have an article in the June edition of the Numismatist, page 1. Make sure you pick it up. Enjoy!
