CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

1969 S Lincoln Memorial Penny! Any thoughts on this coin?

Not too sure about it being a DDO, but I can logically state it is in at least a mint state 67+ or better!

In my opinion, the original posters photos aren't clear enough to see if it is DDO 002, a minor DDO compared to DDO 001. This does not look like a DDO to me.

This coin is raw, so CONECA frowns on subjective grading, unless you have an ANA grading cert.

thanks for the reminder about the other ddo(s). usually i'm mindful of them. it slipped by me, again.

but at least logically, we all can agree, that coin is 67+ red or better.

Unless that coin is in hand, I wouldn't say that. Sure, it looks decent, may receive a decent grade but the ANA criteria asks for things more than appearance. One has to judge the strike and other factors to correctly grade coins. Those photos are abit fuzzy, and the angle of photos and lighting may show limited issues.

Again, I follow the CONECA forum rules, so I plead the 5th on this one.

This is a Mint error and variety forum - not a place to post coins with grading questions. Sorry.
