  • 1938-S Winged Liberty Head Dime DDO

Is anybody aware of a Double Die Obverse for a 1938-S Mercury Dime? It has nice doubling on the chin, upper lip, forehead and wing, as well as the "I" and "W" in IN GOD WE TRUST and the "LIB" in LIBERTY. Thanks, indychevyman

From your description of the doubling, I do suspect that it is machine doubling instead of s doubled die. However, a picture would be helpfully to determine which one it is. Other than that, I checked the CONECA master die list for Mer. dimes and found none for that date.
