CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

i don't see any ddo/ddr listed for the year/mm on varietyvista.

from the images, which are decent, i don't see anything that screams discovery ddo/ddr.

from the images and it could just be the lighting, it is a coin i'd look over a little closer as the date KINDA has that look.

if you ask about ddr, in the future, you may desire to provide a reverse image(s).

    happy hunting.

No DDOs nor DDRs on varietyvista.

This wasn't the only coin struck by that working die. It may have struck close to one million cents, so why haven't any of them been reported yet ?

It looks like the photos were taken while the coin was in somesort of holder or slab. Cameras tend to focus on the holder and not the coin especially if it is in the auto mode. A raw coin photo is best, but one cannot do so if the coin is slabbed.

In my opinion, i personally dont see any split serifs nor any extra thickness on any of the devices.

For your information, you can go to the main forum area. Under CONECA SERVICES you can go under the attributions area and place a post there. CONECA staff will examine e the photos and info provided and let you know what they think. It's private between you and them. Just makes use to add as much info as you can to the first post because the 2nd pass can take quite a while.

I need to take care of something and I will try to circle back to this.
