CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

not sure you want opinion on if it is worth sending off or if it is inverted. if you confirm the first point, it could render the second one moot.

basic value searches are pretty easy these days.

I don't push people in any direction when it comes to sending coins in. It's your decision. It could be to protection a coin that been passed down, a personal favorite or other reason than to verify a variety.

In my opinion, this looks like mms001.
If you look closely at FS 502, the top hole of the S is almost lined up with the Point of the star. Your coin's mint mark is much lower than that.

Variety vista shows the two mint mark styles, listed under the SLQ listings. Under the SLQ RPM listings, it shows FS502.
