In my opinion, more than likely an acid treated coin. It could have been ketchup, or some other stronger acid or chemical. It's not worth anything, probably less than a cent now. I suggest being a tad careful handling that coin, it's probably has some residue on it.

has a rotated reverse though, parking lot/pmd on the cent . too bad it wasnt found sooner, would have been a nice find in better shapeComment
