1961 WASHINGTON QUARTER PROOF FS-25-1961-101, DDO-001, DDR-002?
Good Evening CONECA, I bought a group of proof sets in Capital Cases for some toners. The 1961 set was very ordinary until I took a closer look at the Washington Quarter. The obverse looks like a FS-25-1961-101, DDO-001 & WDDO-001. IGWT and the designers initials look well defined. Die Markers: Obverse: A short diagonal die gouge can be found between the upper one and nine in the date is evident from DD. I see a notation about the Reverse being DDR-002 (WDDR-002). 'S T A T E S' looks convincing as do the stems. I can not find the Reverse Die Marker from DD. Thoughts or comments?Last edited by rbroederer; 09-03-2023, 11:31 PM.Tags: None

In my opinion, I would not worry too much about all of the markers/pups. The coin you have in hand may have been struck earlier or later in the die stage, than the one the attributer has in his photos.
The IGWT looks as classic as a double die gets. Congrats.Gary Kozera
