CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    1902 morgan small o

    I have uncovered in my colletion a 1902 morgan dollar small o with a die crack from second L up and thru arrows. Is this any thing to slab and what would be a guess of value. thanks, john

    The small "o" or micro "o" is made with counterfeit dies, however, it is still collectible to a point. As far as value, I am not to sure if it does have any except as a curiosity.

    As to getting it encapsulated. Those services may stay clear of this coin and not encapsulate it since it has a checkered past.
