In my opinion, the letters which are incused (sunk into the coin), it is highly unlikely a DDR.
Obverse photo is too farcaway and upon zooming in with a tablet, the photo gets way too grainy.
Missing frost is an indication of die usage and wear.

I dont need photos of the dated side.
If you want to show others the photos, feel free.
Its more than likely machine damage.
If the sheer amount of drama on this coin hasnt been documented in the past 9 years then its something other than a variety. Those working dies make a decent amount of proof coins, so others would have been discovered by now.
Maybe some one else will chime in. I dont see anything here.
