Differences: in the motto (IGWT) there is doubling on the outside of the letters, near the rim, that appears as strengthened lettering. All of the T tops are more bulbous, with the T in LIBERTY, noticeably thicker. The upper portions of LIBERTY, in particular the B & R, have doubling and a knotted up appearance. The dates are similar with a very small anomaly floating above the tail of the 2 (these are not to be confused with DDOs 009 or 010).
Being the second master die (on the right) has doubling, coins minted from dies that originate from that master die are misattributed as being either as a specific listed doubled die, or as a new one.
At least 50% of all 1972 Lincoln cents show this doubling, making them worth nothing beyond their face value of .01˘. Erroneously listed 1972 DDOs on eBay, are often just Lincolns with this MDO, so beware.
I have these pictures up HERE, as well.
