1971-S Ike Dollar Best Of Both Sides Obverse & Reverse

I wanted to post this before I received the coin, I'm ebay hunting .

The Ike Dollar Series has some real cool things to offer and this is one of them .

I was looking for a 1971-S DDO with Reverse Hub Doubling too, not easy to find with the images on ebay .

You can purchase plain jane 71-S for 7 to 12 bucks, so I was willing to pay a little more from a seller, with some images of either side of the coin .

Low and behold I came across this one on ebay

The seller thinks it a DDR with only 2 close-up images posted .

So I went on IDDD web site and I think its this one

Class: Obverse Class I and Reverse Class 1, Master/Master.

Submitted by:

Obverse Description: Doubling seen on IN, D of GOD, E of WE and TRUST. Bottom left serif's in the date.

Reverse Description: See pictures. Early die state for hub 1.

Markers: Obverse full R of Liberty. Eye pocket, scratches seen in the field in front of nose and the lobe of the nose above the nostril.

Scratches on the R of LIBERTY - see picture. Reverse: Scratch seen between the N & I & and another scratch above the T of UNITED.

Date recorded: 2/23/2012. CD. R158.

Population: 1. Obverse Working die- for Hub 1.. Reverse Hub 1.

Comments: Obverse & Reverse are stage A in EDS. Anacs MS65. small die clash see Eye picture.

I received this coin and its better then I thought .

It turn out to be a DDO & DDR .

Here's the description:

1971 S Silver BS Obverse Reverse

New Coin: IDDDO-156 71-S BS WD- S IDDDR-WH-1 IDDP-146.

Cross Reference:

Attributed by: IDDD Thomas Kalantzis.

Class: I Obverse and Reverse Master/Master.

Obverse Description: Doubling seen IN GOD WE TRUST, Date. CCW spread seen on LIBERTY.

Reverse Description: CW spread is seen on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Doubling shows on NE of ONE and DLLAR of DOLLAR.

Markers: Obverse: Die scratches at the rim run towards the back of the head inside the R continuing through the T and to the right of the T in LIBERTY. Die scratches in the eye pocket. Reverse: Die scratches run SE on top right of E ending under the R of AMERICA. Die scratches following along the branch ending at the eagles talon.

Date recorded: 1/20/2012. CD.

Population: 1. Obverse Working Hub 1. Reverse Hub 1.

Comments: Obverse and Reverse are stage A in EDS/EDS. Anacs MS64.

Update: Finished MS-65 DDO-007

Just received the coin from ANACS and it turn out to be Coneca DDO-007 .

I have 3 Ikes I have to get over to Mr. Wiles .
