Need a confirm on 1995-D LINCOLN DDO Please
Would you mind taking a look at my pics and confirm or deny if this is the 1995D-1DO-003? I feel like I’ve identified all the pickup points but I need a better eye. Thank you very much!

I see the markers that you point our but I'm not seeing any hub doubling on any of the devices. I've have had a few of the 1995D-1DO-003's and I can tell you, this is not it. I don't believe it is a doubled die. Even the lesser known 1995D DDO's have significant extra thickness especially on the date and mint mark.

Here are a few photos of one of the 1995D-1DO-003's that I had. Notice the extra thickness and notching.

Thank you ! I really appreciate your quick response and the examples you provided. The problem I am having is that when I put that and another 95-D I have under my microscope. I am seeing separation lines on some of the devices and for example on the word “GOD” there is noticable distortion on the “O” and to a lesser extent in the “D” It leads me to believe a have some type of doubled die variety but of course I don’t find it listed. The 003 is the closest. If you get a moment take a look at “GOD” and tell me you don’t see some distortion there. Maybe I’m crazy. I do appreciate your feedback. It’s imperative for me to be able to property attribute a coin because I am a seller on ebay and mistakes are something I cannot afford when selling my coins. I generally check my attribution 2-4x before posting and I still find mistakes. It’s a work in progress but I love it!
Thank you again. Don

Don, I have looked at your photos several times, to be sure I'm not missing something and I'm confident that there is no hub doubling on this coin. A word or a letter or any part of the devices that may show some kind of distortion is not a guarantee that its a doubled die. It would really help to learn and memorize the different classifications of hub doubling. It will be a lot easier to identify one when you see it. I appreciate your wanting to have accurate listings on eBay. So many sellers today are advertising doubled dies that are not. I sold on eBay my self several years ago and always tried to make sure my attributions ere dead on. Here are a couple more photos have of another 1995D-1DO-003 I had. Look at GOD and compare with yours.

My advice would be to have someone (an expert preferably) look at it in hand if you are confident there is hub doubling on the coin. Oh, and I should say that the first photos I uploaded are from a 1995D-1DO-001 and the 2nd set pf photos are a 1995D-1DO-003. I just wanted to show you extra thickness, separation and notching.

Ill message you. Like I said, every listing I looked at was not as described or just too blurry to tell.
Yea. You're better off posting here and asking on each one so you dont feel Im picking on your listings. You have too many listings for me to message you on each one. I done a few but theres manyLast edited by Kloccwork419; 01-13-2022, 09:34 AM.

I appreciate your help with this. Many of the pics are blurry because I was using my phone before on the majority of the listings you see. Now I have my microscope and I can see detail and doubling a lot easier now. Don’t feel like your picking on my listings, I need to know if they are attributed incorrectly. I don’t want to deceive anyone and have a genuine interest in getting my attributions correct. I also want to be careful so as not to abuse this website. I have dozens of coins to post on top of the several hundred that I have there now. I can post a few here for sure. Oh, and. feel free to kick some of my listings back to me if need be so I can correct them. We’ll stay I touch and thank you again….
