  • 1997-D misaligned Die question..

I have noticed lots of off center strikes for the 97..
but this one seems to be a little different than the normal everyday ones.
I checked it out ebay but couldn't find anything that looks identical to it.
I'm sure it's not rare or something super special. Just a neat flip coin find..

    My question are:
#1) looks like the mint mark had been duplicated bc the off center strike. So does that make it semi special?

#2) Is this coin considered a double collar or just misaligned die/off center %2 ish?

    #1. No
#2. Double collar? Not sure where that reference came from. Do you know what a collar is and what its used for? Off centered and misaligned strike are 2 different things. Nobody will ever be able to know what this coin is by seeing one side of it.
