IMG_0111.jpeg I found this 2016 while roll hunting. Could anyone tell me what type of doubling this is? I get very confused when looking at the doubling. And since I’m what I consider fairly new to this (I had to stop for a bit) a refresher course is always nice.Tags: None

In my opinion, it's classic machine doubling. One of the impressions is lower and shelf like or step like.
The other is that they dont look the same, it shows up thinner or damaged looking.
John Wexler did an article on worthless doubling. Its extensive and shows the difference between worthless doubling types abd true doubled dies. See worthless doubling at https://doubleddie.com
