2022 P Sheild Cent DDR all outer devices show strong notching
Have posted pics of this 2022 P DDR Cent in "examination section" thought I would share in "variety section" so fellow roll hunters will know what to look for. Obverse is a slightly misaligned die, reverse shows doubling and notching on United States Of America and designer's initials. Neat DDR be on lookout for these. Pics are very amateurish because I'm an amateur but I think their passable in showing the notching.Tags: None

Hi hollandpoint!
Welcome to the forum and CONECA. I've been a member for about 4 years and just joined the forum this year after some 2023 Jefferson Nickel roll hunting.
I love the ERRORSCOPE magazine! It's been hard to get things attributed or listed currently here though. Supposedly there are some setbacks here and hopefully temporarily. It took almost 3 months before I heard anything after posting in Attributions Forum but nothing helpful. What a great find! Good eyes! The doubling with notching is definitely there. Strive to get better pictures, it will be attainable. I picked up a tip on cutting down glare as to use plumbers tape, aka teflon tape wrapped around your light source if you can do so without melting. This also heps with hunting! For the close ups you can hold your loupe over your cell phone camera lens, zoom in, when in focus take a deep breath and snap the picture. You can order a 30x zoom cell phone microscope or similar on Ebay to attach to yours, they work good. I don't know if you found more than one, but if you can contact Jamez through email or here directly for help. You can also contact Tanner Scott about listing on his site CRdievarieties.com cellphone pics (see link) and/or in "The Wexler Files" and Daniel Griffin when they start listing there again. Coppercoins seem to be no help at all. Talking about roll hunter alerts, be on the lookout for this 2022 P 5c DDR I found lately and thank you for your post! You do not have permission to view this gallery.

Nice snap back doubling on your nickel, rarely look at modern nickles maybe I should. Thank you for posting, its obvious having a possible new variety looked at and attributed at present is not like 5 years ago so have a work around. I contacted ANACS customer service and asked clear concise questions about having my example attributed, listed, graded and encapsulated. My theory is ANACS knows who is who isn't who will and who won't attribute varieties if they cant/won't or unable. After all they run a business and surely their die variety department hasn't stopped just because 2 people in Hobbie retired. When they get back with me will simply send it in to ANACS for attribution, variety listing, and grading. Someone is still active attributing its just knowing someone who knows someone i.m.o.
Frank Bauman posted a nice 2022 D Sheild Cent DDR here on forum and nobody responded to his post? I see he also posted his find on coincommunityforum and its received accolades reaching the heights of the invention of sliced and butterd bread! I posted my 2022 P example and received 2 "nice" comments and 1 "maybe a new variety".
I take about 60% of what I read on the coincommunityforum with a grain of salt and don't let clicks or buddy clubs affect my attitude. I use what I can from coincommunityforum and throw rest away. Thanks again for responding and again nice reverse doubled die nickel.

Can someone explain the benefits of joining CONECA? I can't log in to CONECA correctly, submitted clear pictures of what I consider a major doubled die reverse sheild cent 3 months ago and crickets and zzzzz's. Not getting what I need here so sorry folks gotta bailout on ya. No hard feelings but its pond water here.
