CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    Another Mexican coin struck issue

    Hello again,
this time I'd just like to share a coin I found searching 1KG of world coins last week.
It is a Mexican 20 centavos from 1977. Even if the photo quality is very bad (my mobile camera is very shitty with low light), you can clearly see that the strike is off-centered.
I'm not sure if and how extra value would such strike issue give to the coin, but none the less, I like to find such kind of coins. What you think?

Greetings, sense the design is not cut off on either side"witch it looks like it just made it" of the coin this would qualify as a "uncentered broadstrike", if the design would have been cut off some on either side it would be a off-center strike. Reff. https://www.error-ref.com/?s=uncentered+
If you like you may try this with a cell phone to capture better photos, just use the timer so you can adjust the phone for the shot and not move it when tapping to shoot. All you need is some books and a bottle cap, will need to remove coins from their holder though.

Ah, many thanks mate, I didn't knew that the correct terminology was "uncentered broadstrike", so again, many thanks, I learned a new thing, really appreciate.
