1857 Flying Eagle overdate???

After looking through a 1000 count bag of Flying Eagles I came across this one. Has anyone ever seen this one before or is it possible that it's a 57 over 6 ???

This does not look like an overdate, however we need to see the whole obverse of the coin.

What were looking at is a wider base of the 7 with a spur to the left center of the 7 that is curved. The spur lines up with where a 6 would be which is why were asking

In my opinion, this is not an overdate. The only overdate I am familiar with that is close, is the 1858 / 7. Rick Snow does not list a 1857 / 6.

IF that was a part of the inner area of the 6, the western (left) side of that 6 would be touching the 5 or pretty close to it. You can validate that by doing an overlay, and placing that "6" in the correct area. The circle appears to be too tight, I would believe it to be a slightly bigger radius, no ?

The area in question might just be a piece of scrap which landed in a weird location.
