CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    In my opinion, this looks like a wide AM. In order for them to be considered a close AM, the
    AM need to be almost touching. You also picked a really really tough year for the Close AM. I believe there has been less than 20 found according to a third party grading service.

    The reason this may look intriguing to some is, there appears to ha e debris, die cracks or zinc bubbles at the base of the AM. That gives it the illusion of it being closer than normal.

        There are several areas that are different from a WAM and a CAM. get a 1990 cent (always a WAM) and a 1994 cent (always a CAM) compare to this pick for differences. TAT of STATES, AME of AMERICA, distance of the FG, and the shape of the FG
