CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

I was showing one of my grandsons this quarter when I was spinning the cartwheel I noticed the images on the reverse shifting and doubling, they really moved around. Looking at it with my loop I can see the paths of everything takes when it shift. I was thinking it was a DDR but when I looked at the obverse it to is the same as the reverse now I,m thinking multi strike , so I get another one out and it too is the same. Now I am stumped how and when did this happen ? If anyone can clue me in I would appreciate it I have seen this on some other coins I have maybe its the same thing

What is happening with the site everything I just wrote is now gone . Again the photos I just added are taken as I was moving the quarter. The one with the cow shows his head moving towards the cornstalk. Next one you can see the A moving between AMERICA and the bust. Next you see the U slide down and the last one you can hopefully see the date move up the field to .where the date is ( hope this makes some sense). Please someone tell me you see what I'm seeing. I've been looking at a lot of coins lately and starting to think I'm staring to see things!!!!
