CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    1910 $10 s/s/s value question.

    I picked up a 10 dollar gold 1910 S at an estate sale and sent it
    into Anacs cause it had a triple mint mark.

    They graded it as a EF40 (polished) 1910 s/s/s

    I'm pretty okay at finding coin values but this one has me stumped. Any extra value with the triple mint mark because its gold?

    Unfortunately gold errors and varieties don't command a significant premium. They are often called "white elephants." The gold collector doesn't want to pay a premium for the error and the error collector doesn't want to pay a premium for the gold. You are left looking for that 1 in a million person who collects gold errors.
