What is this BIE????
Hello friends hutstuf here again. So has I mentioned my late mothers coin collection is full of for me mysterys as to why some coins seemed very specail to her and others i guess did not. [apologies for the spelling] Ok so I have not a clue but these coins are all together in a binder coin pouch. there are 20 of these seperated coins what exactly am I dealing with???????? internet says BIE.BUT NOTHING ELSE REALLY. The ones showing LIBERTY indeed look like BIE's, which are die chips between the letters of LIBERTY. The one showing damage around the LI and RTY may be something different, we'd need better pics to determine. I'm not sure what we're looking at in the other photos. Would be best to show the whole coin face at once since it's impossible to determine which BIE or whatever we're looking at when there is no date/mint showing along with the die error.
