the images are kinda tough to pintpoint anything and all that detail is kinda giving me vertigo! woudl probably need much better quality and zoomed in images to make heads or tails here.

Occnumis, I took some more photos. Not sure if they are any better but they are zoomed in as far as I am able to at this time. Thank you for your reply.

i'm leaning towards a very small plating issue. i've seen a lot of these on the modern coinage but are of very low interest due to their size. (if it is that)

the zoom images helped a bit but you may wanna look into a device that gives much better quality images. smartphones with proper lighting can do wonders.

MANY people have gone down the coin imaging rabbit hole and lemme tell ya, it just takes a lot of practice to figure it out since a lot of ppl have different devices to image with.

your lighting seems ok but the image is so grainy i am leaning towards insufficient image resolution because of the device being used is not provided high enough quality images?

idk if there is a setting in your camera to increase quality (which also increases image size in MB) or if that is the best it can do.

having enough ambient light (sun or bulb) is usually the biggest shortcoming because images degrade rapidly w/o enough light but the device/camera still needs to be able to provide a certain level of quality or the lighting becomes irrelevant.

usually you wanna get as much of the coin in the image without extra on space on the sides or you have to zoom in more. the more you zoom the more you pixelate with low quality but if you get too close you get blur so there are just trade offs and you gotta find the sweet spots and they can vary from coin to coin.
