CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

I see you added this in CONECA SERVICES.

In my opinion, it's either grease filled or an abraded die. There are what appears to be raised scratches on the coin, both on the obverse and reverse. That may have been done to hide a clash. It seems extreme to lose that much to abraiding, but it is possible. I am not a gambler per se, so I would probably lean heavily toward grease filled.

Please do not post screenshots, and photos at an angle that leaves much to be desired. Many of us are here to learn.

i would lean towards grease strike through. for some VERY odd and strange reason, i've seen a TON of grease strike throughs with those "lines." maybe it results for how the grease is applied to the dies with some brush or something causing straight lines like that and when i see those the areas are usually kinda powdery looking.
