CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    Hello Members, today I am very excited I submitted some of my Morgan silver dollars into Variety slabbing service to have the VAM apply to them, John Baumgart the person in charge of this service made my day today by deeming my 1890 cc a Discovery Coin.

      you may wanna let the people at vamworld konw and they'll get a page set up with the info and images.

      an unknown obverse is no small thing after all this hunting/looking and study. look forward to seeing more about the coin.

        There is no need to inform the people at Vamworld, John is in charge of the Vamworld catalog now, this is from John (I should modify the form. I am in charge on the VAM catalog now, so if it's not listed, I'll add it.)He was talking about the submission form.

            fwiw, the catalog and vamworld are different. if you don't wanna inform vamworld that is ok but that is usually the common courtesy protocol is why i mention it. i've uploaded a couple thousand images and made numerous pages. (i'm sure they'd be excited to learn about that gouge AND new obverse fwiw)

              Oh no, I am not saying that I am new to this coin collecting, VAMS and the difference between the catalog and Vamworld, I need all the help I can get.
