2021D Lincoln Penny Reverse Question

Good evening everyone. Came across this penny with what appears to either be a die clash or doubling on the reverse to the right of the shield. If anyone could give me their thoughts it would be greatly appreciated. Hope everyone has a great day.

i thinik i see a couple line but an arrow or two or circle of where you are specificially talking about would help.

yup. that was what i thought you meant but best to ask when not sure.

it is a good idea (if you work on a notebook/pc/tablet) to keep a folder for numis images, in this case, layovers. it what i have to reference for some coins since i don't know every single clash on every single issue and as a side point, even if i did, coins can have rotated clashing and overlays REALLY help clear those up.

defniately not doubling because there is no device in that spot to be doubled. (this knowledge comes form knowing how doubled/tripled etc dies occur and thus the coins)

there are only 4 things that come to mind.

1. die goues 2. cracks 3. clash 4. pmd

which do you think those "lines" could be?

did you see any area on the obv that could clash in that area on the rev to make those curves lines? even if the obv was roated a little or lot maybe which is not common but far from impossible.

edited to add: if you use paint.net (or a similar program) to do a layover and rotate one side or the other, it is a neat method to help determine rotated clashes and sometimes even double/triple struck etc) but does require a little know-how.
