  • 1969D No FG Initials On Reverse

I want to start this by saying I had no idea the difference a coin microscope would make. I was using my phone on a tripod zoomed in, thinking I was getting good pictures. My scope came in yesterday, and it has made a world of difference. Things that my newbie eyes thought were there, were not there.

Now on to the coin at hand. I found a 1969D no FG initial on reverse. Just wanted to share it with everyone, this is the first coin that I have taken pictures of with my new toy, so really just wanted to see how the pictures turned out on here. Thanks for taking the time to read, and I hope that everyone has a great day!

kinda late now but they make lens attachments for smart phones for years. (ALL different kinds actually)

    decent images btw.

make sure to scour the area of the initials, they are MANY that are just very weak. pcgs is very strict about this as i sent off some ms65/66 past couple years and a couple/few didn't make it. also look for detached roof.

those 60s/70s D mint REALLY got some long life outta them dies!

    happy hunting!
