CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

contact Jamez . He can find out what is going on with the attribution.

IF the coin was asked for and expected by an attributor, then something should be done.
IF the coin was sent in without any communication with the CONECA staff, they may have to scramble to find it.
IF it was an online attribution, its an easier fix.

I don't know if you know, but the way CONECA does attribution is pre-screen them online and then, if they need to see it in hand, they will request that you do so and give you more info.

paveltul, Please let me know who you sent the coin to. As has been stated, the coins are prescreened here before anyone can send them in. If you have tracking etc. also let me know that.

        Thank you

        President of CONECA.
