for my part, as nice as your image and presentation is, it's gonna take a lot more than that for what you are asking. you need different angles, super-close-ups and very sharp images and it is possible that may not be enough. i gotta say 99% of the time, to diagnose something like that, an in-hand examination is almost certainly required. imocoinfacts.com - conecaonline.info - board.conecaonline.org/forum/numismatic-site-links - briansvarietycoins.com - coppercoins.com - cuds-on-coins.com - doubleddie.com - error-ref.com - franklinlover.yolasite.com - ikegroup.info -lincolncentresource.com - maddieclashes.com - money.org - ngccoin.com/price-guide/world - ngccoin.com/census - ngccoin.com/resources/counterfeit-detection - nnp.wustl.edu - pcgs.com/pop - pcgs.com/coinfacts - pcgs.com/photograde - varietyvista.com - vamworld.com

The date is raised-relief on the coin, so if a new date were put on, it would have to be "built-up" rather than engraved into the coin. Very hard to do without the result being an obvious manipulation.
Is that silver finish the true color of the coin? If so it is easy to create a false silvery finish with electroplated coat of zinc, or simply bathing a copper/bronze coin in liquid mercury.
Hope this helps.

Wasn't this coin already posted on this forum a while back ? There were enough what if's thrown around in that post. I am not willing to participate in resurrecting a dead topic. My opinion in that other post still stands.
