1943 RMM, 1943 Repunched "4"

I would appreciate any opinions on these two coins, also is there any safe way to remove rust/gunk from the 1943 cents,

The 1943 S appears to be a LDS RPM -003 with die deterioration doubling. The 1943 P seems to be affected with the same die deterioration doubling which was common on the 1943 cents.

As to removing the gunk and corrosion from these coins, a mineral oil bath may help, but that can take a long time.
