1943 S War Nickel
Hello everyone. I have here a 1943 S mint mark War Nickel. As you can see it's definitely circulated. I have had it for a few years now when I look at it I'm always looking at the 4 and 3 in the date. The 4 looks somewhat doubled to me and the 3 at the end of it it goes into kind of hook or line that shoots upwards if that makes sense. I have Google it and I heard about the 1943/2 P Nickel overdate but mine is an S mint mark. If there is a overdate error at the Philadelphia mint could there be the same error at the San Francisco mint at well? I have attached some pictures some of the whole coin front and back but mostly close ups of the 4 and 3. Forgive me if the picture didn't come out very clear. I tried the best I could. I would love to know what you all think of it. Thank you for your timeYou do not have permission to view this gallery.

In my opinion, The "S" mint does not have a 43 over 2 variety.
The 43/2 or a doubled die would be classified as a variety vice error.
The 3 might have a die chip or crack on the number.
A few websites that may help are:
( I highly recommend reading the description of the listing to understand where the variety is being seen )
https://conecaonline.info - CONECA master listings
http://varietyvista.com - easy to navigate but some photos can be a challenge to see.
https://doubleddie.com
https://www2.briansvarietycoins.com/ - all sorts of listings. You can check the for sale stuff and the doubled dies and repunched mint mark listings for info.
