1940s Lincoln penny error on rightmost date digit

In my opinion, it is probably not a 44, the digits are too close. Look how wide that first 4 is. The potential second 4 would be right over the first. Its more than likely a 41. There might be a die crack on it, or ir may have been damaged by a coin wrapper or coin counter machine.
I try to zoom in and it simply gets too blurry to see what is going on with the coin.
I dont believe it to be working die related. If it was then there could have been hundreds to many thousands of these made.
It would be good to have a close up of the last 2 digits of the date. Check below my signature for a helpful post on taking photos with a cellphone, if thats an option.

Better.
Do you have the photo of just the subject coin?
Id like to see the top of the last two dates. Part of the top is cut off on the photo above.
The "1" digit is the only one that has a solid straight verticle line on the right side. It just about eliminates all the other years/digits.
It looks like the coin experienced some damage, almost smearing the digit from the east to the west.
Its been a heck of a day. I will revisit this post soon.

In my opinion, its more than likely post mint damage.
I added some arrows to the photo below to show damage and shearing of the top of the second "1" in the date.
It was peeled from east to west in almost a "C" shape.
The original photo was a bit blurry but, it shows enough for me to make an opinion.
Its difficult to know exactly how it happened. Coin counter, Coin wrapper, incidental damage or something else. You do not have permission to view this gallery.
