CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

I've been trying since 2014 for my first listing. I knew this would be that one. I was just waiting for Wexler Doubled Dies to open for submissions again.

A 1964 proof cent from a red wrapped proof roll from EBay.

The 6 southwest is in a style of the type 2 1969S 1c DDO.

During that double hubbing we see the need for the new by what the old shows. The split top IN-N is a very present image in the early 60's. This is a perfectly strengthened N hubbing against an older worn split N top.
That older split top N is pulled towards the center of the die and the 6 is shown exhibiting a tilted hub doubling.
