CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

I was just doing some 1964 proof cent math

I was just doing some math on 1964 cent proof coins. The implied rarity of strongly frosted coins.
If frosting lasted 100 strikes and each die lasted 3,000 strikes and they made 3,950,762.
    1,300 dies.
    1,300 x 100
    That's 130,000 frosted proofs.

The rarity seems more like each working hub was pickled and gave impression to as many working dies as needed each weakening in frosting share to the next working die.

I only say this to possibly explain this North East rotation tilt seen pulling the L away from the rim and up from the bottom, the eyelid coming down and the top of the horizontal 4 end closest to the rim. The surface frosting is showing greater the more north it is and narrower the more south it is. The surface frosting exactly mimics the direction the tilt turned.
