    1970 S Nickel, need help

Had this coin for many years and its always dumbfounded me. Everything going on and nothing looks post mint to me from the nose broken and indent by nose that looks to match, to twisted stairs and marks on building. Ive looked at this for hours upon hours over the years and referenced other 1970 S nickels to it. So much more than what pics show from random letters slightly visible. I really am lost on this coin and new to all this and the verbiage yall use.any insight would be appreciated. Also it weighs right on at 5 grams.

In my opinion, its post mint damage. There is no way a date or mintark would be like that on a single coin. It would have smashed that area flat. Plus dates and mintmarks are sunk/incused onto a working dies, so when the planchet is squeezed between the dies, its raised on the coin. Although this coin may look odd, the font, type and size is completely wrong. Its damaged pretty bad.
