Alaskan Quarter
I just opened a bank roll of Alaskan Qurters & found this coin. What caused this. It is very symmetrical & part of it is repeated just to the right of the larger mark. The picture does not show it very well, so I also made a drawing of it. I'm just starting to learn a little bit about coins. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you ----IkeTags: None

Would you believe it is a "bag" mark, or specifically one coin hitting another. That pattern is the reeding from the edge of one coin hitting into the other coin and leaving an impression of the reed.
