2023 D Elenor Rosevelt Quarter DDR
Thank you for taking a look at my post. I have a quarter that i believe has a DDR. I would like to ask for others thoughts and possible advice on anything that im doing wrong so i can get the right experience on this site... Thank you in advance... The doubling that i see is on the letters within the word AMERICA, but not all letters. The letters are incuse in the coin.

Something that I missed in responding to your post is if you want someone to get a notification of your post, as in a response warranting, don't post a separate post but use the three dot toolbar and reply under quote, so that way someone gets a notification that they've been quoted in correspondence, which itself warrants a reply to have been quoted. In response to your question, you're going to have to know you know now and later. It's free to have ambition to attribute, but not so free to make too many mistakes in judgement. I've done that for 12 years sending to J. Wexler and have been told by John Shields my first cent attribution will be listed when 1964 Cents open.Originally posted by ImAlset View Posti am not the greatest at searching through this site but from what i have looked through this one has not been listed yet. should i get a verification from someone before getting it atributed
It took me that long to get my wild energy under control.

In my opinion, most incused lettering is not a doubled die. There was a huge debate on this many years ago when the statehood quarters came out. That type of doubling, some slight, others dramatic was looked at rather closely by several attributors and they all considered the examples machine damage related.
Save yourself a lot of money and if you want to get it attributed, use the CONECA SERVICES here. Under the subforum of ATTRIBUTIONS, place a post. I suggest putting in as much text and photos as you can of the areas in question. Its vital the photos are focused and have little to no glare from lighting.
Providing as much info up front will give you a good chance about getting an answer from the CONECA staff in one pssing. They are volunteers so, answers may take some time to get.
Lastly, in my signature block are some helpful posts to help you on your way in here.
Good Luck and Happy hunting.
