However, it seems that PCGS has decide to add new nomenclature to the variety classifications. A recent slab for a 1972 doubled die (die number unknown) was labeled as a "weak double die". Below is the listing for that coin and the slab that it is in

It is indeed unfortunate when the supposed top grading company choose to break from the norm and start using their own terminology. I am not to sure what a "weak double die" infers or if it really is a doubled die that they encapsulated.
