1995 LINCOLN CENT CRACKED DIES
I have just opened 3 bank rolls of 1995 P cents, and aside from the few that were "struck thru grease", I have come up with 18 that have die cracks. How do I tell which die had the crack? Some of the cracks are on the obverse, some on the reverse, and one that is cracked on both sides. Help PLEASE !!!!!!!! Is there some publication that deals with die cracks out there?Tags: None

unfortunately no, I am using a 12x loop, and my digital camera can't pick up the cracks. If you send me a private email, I will attempt to describe the locations of the cracks for you. printman90606@yahoo.com

Die cracks are common in all denominations in all years. No crack will be absolutely identical to any other, so having an identical die crack on two different coins indicates they were struck by the same die.Mike Diamond. Error coin writer and researcher.
