CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

  • 2005-P with trails

I have this coin that has most of the trails like 2005-1DEO-001T.But
I think my coin has trails from the bottom of liberty as well as the top. I've pointed out what I believe to be trails. The pics is not that great but I think Im on to something. Not to leave out the marker is not there as showed for that coin.

I would have to see the coin in hand to confirm what you are seeing.

Looks like it could be one..I don't waste much of my time looking for them anymore since there seems not to be a big demand for them.

As with all newly theorized die anomalies, the demand is not great for they are being readily found on pocket change. As for their popularity, the traildies.com site tells the story with an average of 28 visitors a day for over the last two years.

It is up to the individual what they collect; I have just given them another choice in the world of die anomalies.
