  • 1971 s proof Eisenhower

    I have a 1971 Proof Eisenhower that has the peg leg. Is that common for that year? I am sorry. Was left a lot of coins, and just now starting to look at them and read about them.

    thank you

    The "IKE" Group has some excellent information concerning the Ike peg leg "R".
    Go to this link for that information;

      info on ike coins

      Thank you for the link for the info on the ike's. by looking at those pictures it seems i have a 71 s fading peg leg. when i took it to the coin shop they told me that 71s were not of any value, just 72's. why is that?
