    1970 cent in mint set

Found a mint set with a 1970 S mm, Large date cent. I think the letter L in liberty has a part l beside it the 970 has an extra ridge and the word liberty has part of the b and t abouve the actual be and T see Photos.

    What do you think?

Your pictures are not clear enough to make any determination where or not this is a doubled die. From what I can see, it appears to be a normal large date 1970-S Lincoln cent.

The Longer I look at, brinigs me to believe it is a dent or gouge. I just get over optimistic seeing more than what is there.

Maybe the camera is playing tricks on us . If the coin looks like the photos does I would have to say it looks like a doubled die . This one may be listed in the Wexler files or somewhere else if it is a doubled die.
