CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

It is extremely unfortunate for CONECA that you have resigned Mike. However, I do support your decision 100 %. You have provide the organization with countless hours, unlimited knowledge and wonderful, thought provoking articles; these will be missed.

It seems that many years have past since we opened the CONECA forum, a place where people seeking information could obtain answers. Between the two of us, we have answered approximately 3,200 posts in the last four years and though there were a few that were displeased with the answers that they received, the majority of the answers provided were accepted with thanks. This is an excellent achievement and shows the value of an open forum.

In light of what has happened and since we did open this forum together, this will also be my last post here as well.

The dedication and the level of knowledge that you both have contributed to this forum has been paramount, and I doubt it will ever be the same. I am sorry to see you go.

            What's missing from this conversation?

Why am I the last to know? What did I miss? This site seems to have a great following. So would someone please provide some insight?
