  • Kennedy half dollar (1965 SMS DDO) PICS to help out

Hello all, I am new here, I have been getting into coins for over a year now, and it is to the point where I am OBSESSED. I love this amazing hobby. I am curious about a 1965 SMS half dollar that I have, it is (or seems to be anyways, based on what I have seen) a DDO. The profile on Kennedy has a very good spread, up through the lips to the nose, but most dramatic on the neck area, below the chin. I cant seem to find much on a DDO profile for a 1965 SMS Ken. Can someone shed some light on the subject for me. Is there a known DDO profile for the 1965 SMS half? Is there anyway what I have could just be "machine doubling". I will try to post a decent picture, I have been surprised at how difficult coin photography can be...

Thanks in advance, I will have more to add/share/ask soon.

    Chris.

Your pictures have too much glare and you'd need a better close up.It always helps to have arrows to point to what your seeing!!

Can't say much about the coin, but I can say you've done well in deducing that coin photography is hard. Proofs/Uncs are the toughest of all with the reflective surfaces. Try different lighting positions or bouncing the light off some paper or a light-colored wall.
