    Rotated Roosevelt

I found a 2000 D Roosevelt dime that has a 24 to 35 degree rotation. No photos yet. According to the Strike It Rich with Pocketchange book there are no known for the Roosevelt. Can anyone tell me the rough value? It is in AU condition. (Found it in pocket change!)

I would pose this question to Fred Weinberg and see what he thinks.

There is virtually no market for rotations of less than 35 degrees. Nobody in their right mind would slab one, as the value of the coin is far less than the cost of slabbing. Therefore, such rotations will go unreported most of the time. Additionally, many rotations are dynamic (changing from strike to strike) so there's no point in reporting one as if it was some kind of variety. Your coin might be worth $3 - $5 on a good day.

        Thanks

Thanks for the replies. Disapointing but probable. (Nuggetman)

This site: http://www.rotateddies.com/ has been cataloging rotated dies that are GREATER than 90 degrees. They have two Roosevelts listed.

And I agree what you are noting isn't enough to be worth much.
