Hello; I am new to this site and am looking for any information I can find on this quarter. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank You for looking.

Another coin was pressed into this quarter, commonly refereed to as a "sandwich job" or "garage job".

There are few coin reverses that show "E PLURIBUS UNUM" curved. If you notice the mirrored image of UNUM also has an S preceding it. The only reverse design that has this feature is the Statehood quarters (etal), where "E PLURIBUS UNUM" is one one, curved line near the rim.

It is this design that I suspect was the second coin used to make this "supposed" error.

Thank You for pointing me in the right direction, upon further examination, I am of the belief that a nickle may have been used either way, it was fun to discover thanks again

I did over look the reverse of a nickel, but that reverse could also fit.
