CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

New hear and looking forward to learning!

Hello everyone. I'm Bill and I am progressing from a bullion stacker to a collector/hunter. I primarily coin roll hunt half dollars and recently have begun pennies as well due to the many varieties that exist. Currently not a member of CONECA but looking into it and I look forward to the knowledge here.

      Congrats !

The community has a lot to offer, there are many people here with many years of experience - NO, I am not calling them old - Just experienced. Some of the best attributors surround Jason C and the staff of CONECA can answer many questions. Should you choose to become a member, I am sure they appreciate your membership. If so, stand by for a welcome aboard packet from CONECA, and if you opted in for the bi-monthly ErrorScope magazine, your in for a treat.

Some of the best places to look over for coins in general is
      http://varietyvista.com ( James Wiles website)

A few other websites are great when it comes to Lincoln Cents, and those are:

      https://doubleddie.com (John Wexler's website)

I wander around this forum quite a lot, so if you have any questions about coins in general feel free to ask.
