  • 95% off-center penny

    Hi.
I have had this coin since the early ‘60’s. The only identifiable visual is: “D ST”.
I assume this is part of “UNITED STATES”
Pennies of that era did not have these words stamped on the circumference.
The opposite side tells my eyes nothing.
Anyone have any thoughts on what I have here?

Actually United States Of America is the edge lettering of the reverse of 60's era pennies. Not having at least the date makes it difficult to categorize.

Yes, you are correct. I was looking at pennies from the ‘50’s.
How should I proceed with rarity of this type or possible value, if any? ‍

      Thanks,

It will grade as an off center strike but, there's no telling how it will grade. Without even the last two digits of the date, there's no telling when it was minted. If I had one like, it would be heading to be graded. Protect it in a 2x2 till then.
