1943/2 D ??? Speculation
I always look for the same varieties on the Denver mint as on the Philadelphia. Possible doubled die reverse with mechanical doubling but that’s not why I’m posting. You’ll have to look at the date!You do not have permission to view this gallery.

In my opinion, this is a normal 1943 nickel with some MD on the reverse as you pointed out. The line on the 3 that you may be focusing on has an additional one parallel to it and seems more consistent with die scratches rather than 3/2. Are you able to find any evidence on more of the design elements on the obverse to support 3/2?
