It's a circulated coin, so more than likely (99.9%) it is PMD or Post Mint Damage.
If these coins could tell us a story of what happened to them, it would be very helpful.

Pick the appropriate Forum whether its
Varieties (doubled dies, re-punched mint marks, overdates, over mint marks, misplaced dates, re-punched dates etc)
or a
Mint error (lamination, off-center, multi-struck, strike-through, wrong planchet etc).
One coin per post.
If you can give us your idea/guess of what is in advance, it helps us out.
Let us know where on the coin you are focusing on also helps out.
You need to do research of your coin too.
We're here to assist, but it is vital for the owner of the coin to do some lifting too.Gary Kozera

Hello Gary,
I have submitted 2 coins thru the Forums Examination procedure. One was 5 months ago & the other was 3 months ago. Is there anyone who can give me any idea if or when my coins will be looked at. Hopefully before I die. I liked the old days when we could communicate with the attributors/examiners directly. It seemed so much more efficient.

As of the newer submission guidelines (2021), you cannot directly contact or send coins to an attributor or examiner. You must go through the Forums Protocols. Under Forum scroll down to CONECA Services, Sub-Forums: Click on Using CONECA Attribution & Examination Services(4/4). Then click on either the Examination or Attribution Service to get instructions on submitting coins. The funny thing is if you click on the first Forum Protocols, he states to be patient & allow at least ten days for a response in some cases. These were all written by the administrator, Peter. I have been a member of CONECA since 1998 & have sent US & World coins in to James Wiles, Ken Potter, Mike Ellis, & besides the 2 I have put into the Forum I have others I would like looked at but I am about to give up hope at this point.

OK, both have been sent a private email. If you do not hear from either one in a few days let me know and I will email them and send this email thread. The reason for the delay MAY have been when CONECA did not wish to renew James Wiles contract and decided to take back the attribpution services.
Keep in touch, let me know if they contact you. See that black looking speech cloud by my name ? You can private message me from there,
It's in the left column area.

Kloccwork419- as per instructions,(have you read them?), through the Forum you send in a description & photos of your coin either to the Attribution Service(varieties) or the Examination Service(errors). Someone will then take a look at what you have & if they deem your coin worthwhile then they will give you instructions on who & where to send your coin to. In years past we were able to email the attributor or examiner directly & ask if it was okay to send them coins for them to look at. Now the new submission procedure is to go through the Forum & I am assuming it is because the examiners were getting inundated with request. Also they may be providing this service on a part-time voluntary basis which is causing longer than usual wait times.(?)

Maybe you havent read them. You been posting on someone else’s thread about your issues about something completely different. Maybe make your own. Nobody but you or the attributor can see your thread with your coins in the examination section. Apparently you haven’t got past that part of it. Contact them. I couldnt care less about examination or attributions. Complaining here isnt helping you

As far as I knew, some of the attribution services were on hold, but some may be operational. If you submitted one to an area that is not operational yet, THAT is the delay. James M responded to your inquiry. Let us know as much amplifying info as possible.
