CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    I think this is machine doubling - as I am new can someone please confirm. TIA john 2022_0321_125846_002 (2).JPG

    I cannot see details of the coin well enough to tell you its machine doubling.

    One of the top most frustrating issues with coin photography is proper lighting to get that good photo.

    Light can be subdued for a short period by applying a sheer cloth over the light to cut down on the glare and extra brightness.For safety sake, just make sure the cloth is removed shortly after taking the photo.

    If need be you can turn the coin at 90 degree angles as well. If we need to we can download the photo turn it as we need to to see the coin better.

    I currently am at a different location than normal or I would attempt a download and try to lower the lighting to see if there is machine doubling there.
    I suggest checking out the article in my signature block to see if it looks like one of those examples.
